Bold Street Festival

Next Saturday (26th September) is the second Bold Street Festival. After the huge success of last year's event over 50 stores on this iconic, and largely independent, Liverpool thoroughfare are joining forces to create a day action packed with street entertainers, promotions, dancing, music and lots of food sampling.

Bold Street is our spiritual home and where it all began for Utlity and with a massive list of events taking place up and down the street there's lots to keep all the family entertained including animated stilt walkers, free tango dancing classes, tai chi lessons, free windmills, circus dancing, balloons, cooking demos, interactive games and graffiti artists.

'Shiverpool' will be present to recount ghostly stories from the area as well as a 'Push Poem Machine' and street artist Nina Edge. One of the key events will be the transformation of an empty shop unit into a small cinema where the public can enjoy a luxury full cinema experience with screening of cartoons, news reels, classic trailers and comedies.

Old or young the day is sure to be one of fun where the independent retail sector celebrates its originality, creativity and unique quality. Come and join is from 10am...
