They've done Barbie - now it's Cindy's turn

OK - so it's a different spelling but that's artistic licence! Kartell have gone all 70s this week with the launch of the Cindy Table Lamp by Ferrucio Laviani - the great luminaire maestro of the Bourgie Lamp and Fly Light.

In 8 seductive metallic shades (tangerine, ultramarine, violet, gun mental, bronze, mint green, flamingo and platinum...are you seduced yet) Cindy is a rich lustrous light which we love love love! She costs £123.00 and takes a low energy bulb for all us eco conscious types. Retro chic at its very best. We're taking orders now for delivery in May.

Hunting & Gathering in Milan

Dick's just headed off to the Milan furniture fair. Just as well really as speaking to most suppliers the attendance will be low low low this year! Hopefully he'll come back with lots of new products. The sad new is that it's raining over there. I've never been to Milan when it isn't!

Louis and Lou Lou get the Barbie Treatment

Barbie maybe 50 years old this year but she's still looking good...that's plastic for you! In celebration Kartell have created a limited edition version of the Louis Ghost chair in suitably Barbie pink. It comes in two sizes - the larger, original sized Barbie Louis Ghost at £187.00 and smaller, child size Barbie Lou Lou Ghost at £72.00 and both feature Barbie's profile on the backrest together with the brand signature. We are taking orders for them now with delivery expected at the end of April. Don't disappoint your little princess!

Design for Charity

We've found this fab coat hook designed and made by a small company in Sweden. Featuring three of our rare furry friends (the red ones, not the nasty greys), the Squirrel Coat Rack is available in either orange or black. What's more, we're giving £2.00 to the UKs Save Our Squirrels Campaign for every one we sell.

Being near Sefton in Liverpool Dick's Mum & Dad have red squirrels in their garden. They're such cute little fellas - as well as being our native species, it would be a shame to see them disappear.
