One Very Hungry Caterpillar!

The Very Hungry Caterpillar celebrates his 40th Birthday this year - can you believe it? Those of us who grew up in the 7os can! Eric Carle's iconic creation has now become a design classic in his own right so we couldn't resist stocking the Ceramic Mug & Bowl Set (£15.00) and Money Box (pictured - £9.00) launched in celebration of this milestone. A great way to encourage kids to eat up, save up and start their appreciation of great and timeless design.

More Scented Candles...

We've expanded our range of scented candles from True Grace because a.) we LOVE them and b.) they have proved to be really popular and brilliant sellers. As we've said before you get an excellent quality candle, long burn time and beautiful perfume with this candle. Our additions to the range include English Lavender - the perfect summer fragrance, Black Tea..for the dark and mysterious, Woodland, with earthy notes of moss and bracken and Green Tea and Citrus for a sub tropical aroma.

Alexander Girard Plyprints

We've introduced the range of Plyprints by Alexander Girard to our collection. Made from sustainably sourced maple plywood these are re-editions of the original silk screen printed versions from 1970. With six in the range prices are £76.00 - with the exception of Madonna, priced at £89.00. For those of us who grew up in the 1970s the look is all very familiar - I'm sure this couple appeared in my sister's "How A Baby Is Made" book!

Go penguins!

Following last year's super successful Superlambanana trail around the fair city of Liverpool the same guys have teamed up to bring you Go Penguins! Patrick the Penguin got marooned in Liverpool and invited his chums to come visit. They'll be arriving in November. Keep your eyes peeled cos we're thinking there may be one or two in Bold Street appearing in your favourite stores...Utility
